Clausen Structural Engineers, Inc., was founded in 1950. We have developed from a structural design company to one that provides complete Architectural / Engineering design services for most of our projects. We have expanded our professional services to include design of food processing facilities; waterfront and water oriented developments including marinas, breakwaters and piers; industrial and institutional facilities; state-of-the-art seismic design; as well as miscellaneous designs for equipment supports.  We offer a variety of consulting services, including preliminary planning and conceptual feasibility studies, design, preparation of contract documents, construction review and seismic retrofits.

The sixteen member staff includes licensed professional Civil Engineers, Structural Engineers and Architects, each contributing different areas of expertise to our projects.  This creates a better understanding of the project, the concept, the design, and the construction process.

In our many years of service, we have been responsible for the design of more than 10,000 projects, using a variety of construction materials and incorporating current methods of design and construction.  We have performed work nationwide and are licensed in 28 states.  We have also completed work in Europe and the Middle East.
